What type of wood options do I have for my furniture?
Solid hardwoods are used in making the Keystone Collections™ furniture. This includes Red Oak, Cherry, Hard Maple and White Oak Quarter Sawn. We will do other types upon request.
There seems to be differences in the grain and shade of finish between the pieces of furniture – is this normal?
In both the manufacturing and finishing of our furniture, we try to bring forth the character and beauty of the wood. When working with hardwood lumber, it is expected that there will be variations in the color and grain. These variations make it impossible to guarantee an exact match in finishing two pieces of furniture even though identical finish processes are applied. These characteristic qualities give solid hardwood furniture it’s unique charm.
Why does my furniture look different from the photographs in the catalog and on the website?
We try our best to carefully photograph each item to display the true color and character. However, as in real life, different lighting and setting in photography will affect the color and appearance of the furniture. On the website, different monitors will display the color tones in different ways. Color can best be determined by looking at overall similarities in the finish across the entire collection.
My furniture has been slightly damaged in my home. –Can I have it repaired?
Certainly! Simply contact your retailer from whom you purchased the furniture and they will be able to assist you in making the arrangements to have it repaired at the factory.
